Swedish General Nils Ljung and Norwegian General Otto Ruge, Norway, 8 September 1945. Ruge (1882-1961) (right) commanded Norway's army after the Nazi invasion of April 1940. After Norway's defeat he was taken to Germany, where he remained until the end of the war.
