Surprise of the Cato Street conspirators, London, 1820 (1906). The Cato Street Conspiracy involved the planned assassination of British Prime Minister Lord Liverpool and his entire cabinet. The plot was foiled by a police informer. Five of the conspirators were executed, with the rest transported to Australia. From Cassell's Illustrated History of England, Vol. V.
