Soupa Dance, Heinz roadshow, Mexborough, South Yorkshire, 1964. In 1964, Heinz embarked on a nationwide tour to promote their canned soup products. In this photograph, taken in November of that year and titled 'Soupa Dance', we see a giant soup tin together with an equally oversized bottle of their '57' sauce. A dance band provided the evening's music and this took place at the Empress Ballroom in Mexborough.
