Sir Cloudesley Shovell (c1650-1707) English naval officer who served at; the Battle of Solebay, the Battle of Texel during the Third Anglo-Dutch War, the Battle of Bantry Bay during the Williamite War in Ireland, the Nine Years War and the War of the Spanish Succession.
