Santa Marta, between c1910 and c1915. Shows the Santa Marta (built 1909), a refrigerated fruit transport ("banana boat") at an East River dock in New York city, with Brooklyn Bridge in background. The Santa Marta was also used to transport elements of US Army Base Hospital 22 from France to New York in March 1919.
