'Queen Victoria's first visit to Scotland, 1842: Inspecting 'Mons Meg' at Edinburgh Castle', (1901). Victoria is shown the six-tonne siege gun, built in 1449 and named after the town of Mons in Belgium where it was made. It is still on display at Edinburgh Castle.
