Pork pie production, Rawmarsh, South Yorkshire, 1955. Schonhut's butchery factory in the village of Rawmarsh, near Rotherham, undertook the full process of meat preparation. In addition to the preparation of meat for sale in the shops, Schonhut's produced meat pies and pork pies which can be seen in the photograph being glazed and placed in the oven.
