News of king Edwards VII's illness in London, 1902. Edward's coronation, originally scheduled for 26th June 1902, had to be postponed after he was struck down with appendicitis two days before the event. He was eventually crowned on 9th August. An illustration from Le Petit Journal, 6th July 1902.
