'New Morality, or the promised Installment of the High Priest of the Theophilanthropes, with the homage of Leviathan and his suite', 1798. The Leviathan has the face of the Duke of Bedford; Charles James Fox and others ride on his back, waving revolutionary caps. A 'Cornucopia of Ignorance' spews a spurious "Wrongs of Woman" and other pamphlets. 'Theophilanthropes' derived from the Theophilanthropic societies of Paris which aimed to transcend party politics, and here attracts a mixed bag of radicals. Others represented are: Robert Southey, Coleridge, Charles Lloyd, Charles Lamb, Erasmus Darwin, Joseph Priestley and Gilbert Wakefield. From the first issue of the "Anti-Jacobin Review and Magazine".
