Mk1 Brough Superior 1000cc motorbike, (early 1920s?). JA Watson-Bourne, a motorcycle racer of the early 1920s is on the machine, while company founder George Brough stands behind. Brough's machines were advertised as being the 'Rolls-Royce' of motorcycles. Expensive and powerful, they were mostly handmade, many powered by JAP (JA Prestwich) engines, and some by Matchless.
