Miss Slater, Mar 1918. Ray (Slater) Murphy (1895-1985) who married James Bumgardner Murphy. She is in the British tank Britannia which served on the Flanders front in World War I. In 1918 the Britannia visited New York City and appeared at the construction site of the courthouse behind the Municipal Building.
