Meat pie production, Rawmarsh, South Yorkshire, 1959. Meat pies being made at Schonhut's butchery factory in the village of Rawmarsh, near Rotherham. Schonhut's undertook the full process of meat preparation. In addition to the preparation of meat for sale in the shops, they produced pork pies and meat pies, which can be seen in the photograph having the fillings and tops added before being placed in the oven.
