Mausoleum of Marshal de Saxe, Church of St Thomas, Strasbourg, France, 1882-1884. The mausleum was sculpted by Jean-Baptiste Pigalle. Maurice de Saxe (1696-1750) was a French general. He was made a Marshal of France in recognition of his exploits in the War of the Austrian Succession (1740-1748).
