Making pork pies, Schonhut's butchery factory, Rawmarsh, South Yorkshire, 1955. Schonhut's butchery factory in the village of Rawmarsh, near Rotherham, undertook the full process of meat preparation. In addition to the preparation of meat for sale in the shops, Schonhut's produced pork pies which can be seen in the photograph being packed by two female employees for wholesale dispatch.
