La suite au prochain numéro!, 1870. (To be continued in the next issue!) Sculpture inscribed 'Moncey'. The monument to French military officer Maréchal Bon-Adrien Jeannot de Moncey, in the Place de Clichy, Paris, was designed by Amédée Doublemard. It was erected in 1869 in memory of the defence of Paris against Russia in 1814. From Actualités (News of the day), published in Le Charivari, September 7, 1870.
