King Günther reconciles with his rival king Charles IV on his deathbed in 1349, (c1808). Günther XXI von Schwarzburg (c1304-1349), disputed King of Germany, was defeated by Charles IV at the battle of Eltville. Charles became Holy Roman Emperor, and Günther died three weeks later at the Johanniter monastery in Frankfurt, presumably from the Black Death.
