Hobart Pacha, English naval officer and naval advisor to Turkey, c1880. Augustus Charles Hobart-Hampden (1822-1886) was appointed a Marshal of the Ottoman Empire. He commanded the Turkish Black Sea Fleet in the Russo-Turkish War of 1878.
