Explosion on board the British warship HMS 'Royal Sovereign', 1901. On 9th November 1901, off the Greek coast, one of the 6-inch guns on board the battleship exploded whilst being fired, killing 7 and injuring 14. Illustration published in Le Petit Journal, 1st December 1901.
