Execution of the Streltsy, 1698, (1700). Peter the Great's execution of the Streltsy, outside the walls of the Kremlin. Between 22 June and 28 June 1698, fifty-seven of the Streltsy uprising leaders were executed by hanging. From Diarum Itineris in Moscoviam by Joannes Georgius Korb.
