East Midlands Gas Board shop window cooker display, Dronfield, Derbyshire, 1961. For their July 61 window display in Dronfield, near Sheffield, the East Midlands Gas Board diecided on a seaside theme for their display. A range of period cookers can be seen on display, including a Cannon 134, a Flavel Courier, and a Stoves Cabaret. The Main Consort Cooker on show has been reduced from £40 10/- to to £36 15/- and generous trade in allowances are offered.
