Crown Prince Frederick William of Prussia, 1870. Frederick William of Prussia (1831-1888) married Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria, in 1858. He became Emperor of Germany in 1888, but only ruled for 99 days before dying from throat cancer. From a private collection.
