Charlotte Wolter, 19th century Austrian actress, (1900). Wolter (1834-1897) began her theatrical career at Budapest in 1857. She rose to stardom with her performance as Hermione in Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale at the Victoria Theatre in Berlin in 1861.
