Cast of acanthus leaves and cauliculi of Corinthian capital, Round Temple, late 18th century-early 19th century. The Round Temple, near the Tiber in Rome, was constructed in the second century BCE and was one of the first in Rome to have been made in marble. It was long used as a church.
