Captain Alexander McInnes, 1909. 'From an oil-painting by R. R. Reinagle, R.A., painted in 1827, and now in the Royal United Service Institution. Captain Alexander McInnis [sic] retired from the 2nd Life Guards with the rank of Captain in 1814, and rejoined the same year as Cornet, in order to take part in the campaign in Belgium'.
