British Embassy, 70 Wilhelmstrasse, Berlin, 1939. Photographed before the outbreak of the Second World War. The Palais Strousberg, designed by Augustus Orth, dated from 1867-1868. The British government purchased it for use as their embassy in 1884. The building was demolished in 1950.
