At the Necropolis Company's station, Westminster Bridge Road, London, c1900 (1903). The London Necropolis Railway was opened in 1854 as an alternative to the overcrowding in London's graveyards and cemeteries. The railway connected Waterloo to the Brookwood Cemetery in Brookwood, Surrey. In 1899 the location of the terminus was blocking the expansion of Waterloo Station and was transferred to Westminster Bridge Road, with the original station being demolished in 1902.
