US President Franklin D Roosevelt(1882-1945) and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill (1874-1965) agree the Atlantic Charter aboard the battleship 'Prince of Wales' during the Second World War. The Charter was a historic policy statement which defined the Allied goals for the post-war world. Churchill was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945, and again from 1951 to 1955.
