Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence (1864-1892), English prince, c1890. The eldest son of Edward, Prince of Wales (later Edward VII), Albert was known to his family as Eddy. He died of pneumonia in 1892 and his brother George became first in line to the throne in the event of his father's death.
