'The Officers of Arms of the Heralds' College...in the tabards which recall the mediaeval origin of their functions: Bluemantle Pursuivant, Mr. James Arnold Frere; Clarenceux King of Arms, Sir Arthur Cochrane; Rouge Dragon Pursuivant, Mr. Robin Mirrlees; and Portcullis Pursuivant, the Master of Sinclair. There are three Kings of Arms - Garter, Clarenceux, and Norroy and Ulster - and four Pursuivants among the Officers of the College of Arms, who are all members of the Royal Household'.
