The Temple of Minerva Medica, Rome, c1858. Ruined nymphaeum of Imperial Rome, dating to the late 3rd or early 4th century AD/CE. Jane Martha St. John (1801-1882) was an early English photographer who made over 100 photographs in the late 1850s when travelling with her husband in Italy.
