The Swim, or Two Mothers and Their Children on a Boat, 1910. Two young women with their naked children ready for a swim. The dresses of the women, from the Couturier Paquin, are in complementary colours, yellow and mauve. The painter chose a Japanese framing without a horizon line. The boat is entirely surrounded by water with green-blue reflections of leaves.
