Francisco Espoz y Mina, (1781-1836), Spanish leader of the guerrillas of Navarre during the Spanish War of Independence, (1808-1814), 1853. He fought on the Isabeline army in the First Carlist War, (1833-1840), being the most responsible for the fight in the north of Spain against the Carlists.
