Old Kenyon at Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio, United States, 1850. It was founded by Bishop Philander Chase in 1824. Old Kenyon, the oldest building on campus, (1827-1836), designed by Reverend Norman Nash and Bishop Chase. Considered as the earliest example of Collegiate Gothic in the United States. Campus of Kenyon. From "Panorama Universal. History of the United States of America", from 1st edition of Jean B.G. Roux de Rochelle's "Etats-Unis d'Amérique" in 1837.
