The Old Woman from "The Dance of Death", 1538, (1877). Death is depicted guiding an old woman who walks with the help of a cane and holding a rosary in her hand. Another skeleton leads the way while playing a musical percussion instrument. Facsimile of an engraving belonging to the series "The Dance of Death" by Hans Holbein the Younger, in "Les Simulachres et Histoires facées de la Mort", 1538. From "Vie Militaire et Religieuse au Moyen Age et à l'Epoque de la Renaissance", Paris, 1877.
