Loss of Rosas, War of Roussillon, also called War of the Pyrenees or War of the Convention, (1793-1795), 1851. Conflict between the Spain of Charles IV and the First French Republic. Siege of Rosas (November 28, 1794-February 4, 1795). The Spanish garrison abandoned the town and French forces commanded by Catherine-Dominique de Pérignon took control.
