Radcliffe Camera and spire of St Mary's, Oxford, c1955. The Radcliffe Camera, designed by James Gibbs in a Baroque style, was built in 1737-1749 to house the Radcliffe Science Library. The 13th-century tower of University Church of St Mary the Virgin is open to the public.
