The Spanish-American War Preparations: the American liner "St. Paul", one of the vessels chartered by the United States Government, 1898. 'We give an Illustration of the American liner St. Paul, sister-ship to the St. Louis, which, with the New York, is among the vessels summoned home by the United States Government for active service in the event of war being declared between America and Spain.
