Luis Fernández de Córdoba y Valcárcel (1798-1840), Spanish lieutenant general, 1868. Of absolutist ideas, during the reign of Ferdinand VII he rebelled against the government during the Liberal Triennium, being one of the promoters of the failed uprising of the Royal Guard in Madrid on 7 July 1822, which forced him to go into exile in France. From "Historia de la guerra civil y de los partidos liberal y carlista" (History of the Civil War and the Liberal and Carlist parties) by Antonio Pirala, Vol II, Madrid, 1868.
