James III of Majorca (1315-1349 in the Battle of Llucmajor, on 25 October 1349, (1890). Known as "the Rash" or "the Unfortunate". King of Majorca (1324-1343). In this battle he was defeated by the troops of King Peter IV of Aragon, dying in the course of the combat. The Kingdom of Majorca was incorporated into the Crown of Aragon. From "Glorias Españolas" (Glories of Spain), Vol II, published in Barcelona, 1890.
