Two men holding tutti poles, standing with two women during the Hocktide Festival in Hungerford, West Berkshire, 1925-1935. One of the men in the photograph appears to be kissing one of the women (possibly a nurse). Part of the Hocktide Festival traditionally involved the men of the parish binding the women of the parish and then demanding a kiss for their release.
