Self Portrait, 1882. The sitter John Callcott Horsley, who was the brother-in-law of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, is perhaps best known for the fact that he designed the Worlds first commercial Christmas card for his friend Henry Cole, founder of the Victoria & Albert Museum.
