Wooden mask, Pays Dogon, Mali, 1990. Traditional Kanaga mask used in ceremonies by the Dogon people - specifically by members of the male Awa Society. The photographer was told that Dogon women are not permitted to see these masks, but she - as an outsider - didn't 'count'.
