Catalan Civil War: Siege of Barcelona in 1472, (1890). Carried out by the troops of John II of Aragon who established his headquarters in the Monastery of Pedralbes. The city capitulated on 16 October 1472, ending the civil war. Conflict in the Principality of Catalonia between supporters of King John II of Aragon (1398-1479) and defenders of Catalan institutions who rebelled against the king.
