Cataldo Rosso speaking before the king, 1890. During the wedding feast of James II and Blanche of Anjou, held in the monastery of Vilabertrán on 29 October 1295, a Sicilian embassy, composed of Cataldo Rosso, Santoro Bisala and Hugo Talach, approached the king to present him with a message from the Sicilian parliament.
