Fire of Peralada in 1285, ordered by its own lord, Dalmau de Rocabertí (d1304) when leaving the village, 1890. Crusade against Catalonia led by Philip III of France. Due to the shortage of food in the town of Peralada, King Peter III of Aragon, Dalmau de Rocabertí, the Counts of Pallars, Urgell, Cardona and other noblemen met and decided to leave. When the Almogavars departed, they executed Dalmau de Rocabertí's orders for Peralada to be set on fire and destroyed.
