Napoleonic Wars: Battle of Mount Tabor (16 April 1799), 1879. French Campaign in Egypt and Syria (1798-1801). Forces of the French Army of the West, commanded by General Jean-Baptiste Kléber, were attacked by an Ottoman military contingent led by Ahmed Bajah, governor of Damascus. General Junot came from Nazareth to join Kléber. So did Napoleon from Acre, causing the Ottomans to flee. From "History of the French Revolution" Volume I, 2nd part, 1879.
