Royal visit, 1954. Additional Info: The Queen arrived in Sydney on 3 February 1954 and the Military Road shopfronts were ready. According to the Council minutes, The Mosman Council Royal Tour decorations Sub Committee liaised with the Chambers of Commerce at Spit Junction Mosman Junction and Cremorne Junction and donations were collected from the shopkeepers towards the cost of the decorations along Military Road.
