Henry Percival (Percy) Lever. Additional Info: Percy was living in Mosman when he enlisted. Service Number 1774 1st Light Horse Field Ambulance. Percy enlisted at age 21, departing Australia on 6 February 1915. He went to Egypt, Gallipoli, back to Egypt, contracted enteric fever and was hospitalised in England and then went to France and was killed in action on 5 November 1916 at age 23. The light horse field ambulance was an Australian World War I military unit providing medical transport and aid to the wounded and sick soldiers of the Australian Light Horse brigade.
