Portrait of Jean Joseph Dussault (Jean François Joseph Dussault) (1769-1824), French journalist, literary critic and librarian, 1876. After the fall of Robespierre, he published several pamphlets against the leading figures of the Revolution. Dussault collaborated with "Véridique", a newspaper hostile to the Directory, and managed, not without difficulty, to escape the deportation to which he was condemned. From "History of the French Revolution", Vol I, 1876.
