Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871): Sailors refusing to leave the fort of Montrouge, Paris, 1871. Fort de Montrouge was one of the fortifications of Paris, built between 1843 and 1845 in Arcueil. It was used as an artillery depot, suffering numerous Prussian bombardments. .
